Okay guys and gals, I was going through old pics and realized I have a ton of rut activity picks and thought I would share some. I would love to see all yours too so post them up. I'll start with this little guy, obviously thinks he a stud :chuckle: I hope you guys are not sick of picks, looking at them helps get me through the rest of the year. ;)

looks like a good mature deer to me. Good size body.....Has that muscular upper bodie slash beer gut look to him....deffinantly a 4 or 5 year deer.

Hes probably right Jay, in that area the 4 and 5 year old bucks have better mass, typically.

I shot oen that big before that was only 2. still following his mom and sister aroudn the woods. defianitley wasn't rutting either if you try to say that. Just good high country genetics. Saw some 4 or 5 year olds uo there this summer that were prolyl close to 300 pounds on the hoof there were amazing buckskin color like an elk almost looke dlike elk at first. Only got one terrible picture and then the camera died.
