Not a monster but good enough
«

My huntin buddy, my boy and I went on a 2 day hunt in the high country. Saw a nice chocolate on day 1 but couldn't drop the hammer. Got up this am and was checking out a small plateau where I had stumbled upon some ripe berries. Bout 10 min into it I managed to drop this little boar with a couple well placed .300wsm from about 200yds. My boy just had to be in the shot. Only weighed in at 150lbs but has a nice blaze on his chest, thinkin about getting a half mount.

What everyone else said! CONGRATS!
A good pic too, but we could use one or two more!

Nice job cedarcreekkid! That would make a nice looking 1/2 mount with that white chest, just got one in yesterday with the same white spot . Its always a funner hunt when you get to have friends and family along for the ride (and to help pack)

That is a good looking Bear! I love the white patch on it's chest! Bears with those I think make better mounts than rugs. Depending on the size of the white spot and how well the rug incisions were made you can end up loosing a lot if not all of a white spot on a Bear Rug after we trim it out to make it even.
That should make you a real nice mount for sure!
