Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was an awesome mount to have in the shop, going to be sorry when it goes.

Thats probably the best shovel and bez combo I've seen on an Alaskan Bou.  Very nice detail work on that mount, congrats.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Thanks everyone.

It is going to be a sad day when it leaves the shop.

makes sense, I may have the same thing happen if I get a animal on the east side and have to transport back to the wetside.

That is an interesting color of eyeball for a caribou....what type of eye is that? love the shovel! I have one thats very similiar in my shop...Sweeps back about 4-6 inches past the form. Ended up making it a pedestal.

great mount though....what was wrong with the cape? or was it the mount that was messed up?

Hey just got to ask? Why do you think it is an interesting color for a bou? I have seen them everywhere from blue, to grey to dark brown?

Thanks

Caribou eyes vary.  So the color of eye BLKBEARKLR chose is not an oddity.  I can't find a quick pic of google that even shows an upclose picture of a caribou eye, bt i did not look all that hard.  All my photos are on picture paper.  My suggestion would be REFERENCE! REFERENCE! and more REFERENCE!
