Might just be a case of the company looking out after their employee's. Most in that industry are going on year #2 without raises (as are most people who actually work), maybe they threw that out there just to show they care....

employees are just numbers to weyco :twocents:
tagged out and going to town

Another good thing about the employees having access is essentially extra security. . . There is always problems with vandalism and theft whenever an active unit is somewhat near a road.

The Pe Ell camp is where the permits I've seen came from. Every one that works there has them. It probably depends which camp controls the area that you hunt.

'Tree Farmer' gates,  WEYCO'S  public land with gated access are No Motorized Vehicles, foot or bicycle only,  employees have to follow the same rules . Special permits and so on... Still have to obey all fire danger closures, no matter who you are. Until the ' fire marshall' says we can go in.
The only reason a vehicle is allowed behind a gate during early archery season, is if it is retrieving an animal down, with permission from that areas SECURITY. The hotline # on the NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES signs will link you to security.
They will watch the gates to your area if your nice to them and you have good intentions. They want us in their properties maintaining the elk & deer, they are devastating new crops of baby trees.
I am working with security right now in my area because of guys on quads and nearby homeowners that have been riding around busting up the woods just recently, and the last couple years.

You have to protect your area is what it comes down to anymore if  you want  success and you are tired of running into guys driving around in your areas.

You can find out if employees are going to be in a certain area by calling weyco security. Its that easy.

Good luck this season everyone! Almost Time to let some arrows fly.....
