Tree stand set!
« on: August 19, 2010, 06:19:28 AM »
Here we go.  I just finished my tree stand setup. I have a fixed stand about 15ft up in a tree.  There are 2 main trails one that my trail camera is on that took some great pictures.  While setting up my stand and getting all of my hooks set and ropes secured to pull up my gear I first heard something off to my left.  I then noticed a coyote at only 10 yards!  "I wish I had my bow moment" :archery_smiley:  he eventually winded me. But I am happy to have something come in to a shooting distance after I had just walked through there. I must have cut down 10 trees and made a ton of noise as well.  I'm off to Utah Sunday for an archery mule deer hunt!  :IBCOOL: Good luck

Look at this guy  Too bad he only comes out at night.  At least I know he is there.

Goofy looking buck, I will have a hard time passing him.  A 3 by 2ish buck!

Aim small...miss small

Looks like you found a couple of shooters. Good luck on your Utah trip. You and Billy have plans for the late season?
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

You may just be one person in this world. But you may be the world to just one person.
