Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yeah, This was my first big game animal that I have ever shoot, and my third time ever out hunting. I know, I'm a newbie! I have been researching hunting bears all summer and sighting in my rifle. I went out to a spot I have been scouting out, where I found some fresh sign at. I hiked 1.5 miles into an old logging road around 6:30 am and found a really good log/stump pile on a ridge overlooking a clear cut. I climbed up to the top of the pile and had an amazing view! I was using a predator call for about an hour, and spotted this huge bear about 150 yards out. I did not want to shoot the bear right away, cause I was making sure no cubs were around. I watched the bear for about 5 minutes before it causally stepped off the stump and wondered off in the brush. I could hear and see where it was, but never saw it out in the open again.... Figures! I kept calling and off to my right my lightweight bear came into view about 15 or 20 minutes later.  He did not run fast to the call, but came within 40 yards of me. I watched him for about a half hour before I decided to squeeze the trigger and drop him. I don't know how my nerves calmed down for the brief second I pulled up the scope and hammered him, cause I definitely had what people call "Bear Fear". He had a really nice jet black coat on him, and his claws were not chipped or wore down, so I decided to make a bear rug out of him. When I gutted him, all that was in his stomach were black berries! Can't wait to get the meat back!
