Vintage Tractor
« on: August 22, 2010, 05:18:16 PM »
This old Vintage Tractor sits as a lawn ornament in my Sister-in-law’s front yard. While I was at her house toady for a Family Reunion the old tractor kept screaming at me to take its photo. Being that it is such an Vintage tractor I figured a Vintage a Vintage Photo Format was called for. So here is the old tractor in a Vintage Sepia Tone:

There were several other pieces of old farm and lawn equipment that I photographed, but I haven’t got around to editing their photos yet. When I get them edited I will post them here too.

You really need to take him to the Rusty Tractor Cafe in Elma, WA.! That place has an Awesome collection of Vintage tractors and farm equipment! :) Years ago I was on a Pipeline job down there. My apartment was only 6 blocks away and I drove right by there every day to and from work. Their food was pretty decent, so I would stop there from time to time to eat. The rest of the time I ate at Betty's Kitchen. The food there was AWESOME and the prices were LOW. I at 8oz. New York steak dinners almost every night. The price was $5.99 for a Full Dinner!  :yike: :)

Haven't seen him in 20 years, my Sisters marriage ended soon after.  He's pushing 85?  He's in pretty bad shape. My nephew goes over to see him, says it's like seeing a mean stranger now....

Guy down the street restores old tractors as a hobby. He has an old Deere there now that is basically two tractors hooked together end to end. The one on the rear hooks to the one on the front where the rear one's front axle should be. Very interesting tractor. Next time I walk by I will get a picture.

Kinda like this one.

Looks like an old Farmall?  My dad had one of those still running until just a couple years ago.  I drove it at his business for 15 years.  Nice little tractors.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice
