Shooting area near Index?
« on: September 02, 2010, 06:39:33 AM »
good morning all,

is there a place near Index that i can go and sight in my handgun?   a few locals told me to go to a certain DNR area on Reiter road "cuz everyone shoots there"...   i went up there and shot a few rounds but i just wanted to make sure.   if it is a common hiking area or someone is hunting up there, i dont want to be making a ruckus, ya know?  is there an area that any of you know of near me?

the nearest indoor ranges dont allow lead, so i am looking for somewhere i can shoot my practice and hunting loads and relax.

thanks!
