Okanogan Deer Drawing
« on: August 24, 2010, 06:45:58 PM »
Did anybody on this forum get drawn for that Okanogan special Deer hunt? I didn't! No permit, no raffle, and now no special hunt. But I do have a multi-season deer tag.  Maybe next year.

There was a drawing for Scotch creek. 6 archery, 6 muzzleloaders, and 6 rifles for entry into Scotch Creek.

Scotch Creek is a stupid name for that hunt.  It takes place no where near Scotch Creek.  It just happens to also be the name of the Wildlife area.  I sure wish they'd change in to the Chesaw or Nine Mile Wildlife Area.  Even the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area is closer than the true Scotch Creek Wildlife Area below Conconully.  Eders Acres would actually be the best name.... :P

Too many other good areas in the Okanogan to fret about not getting that one :dunno: ;)
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.
