Hey I  need help. I kept see yotes around our ranch almost every week, they came from public land and I really need to catch one of those. I need your advice how to catch those smart yotes. Everytime I see one I QUICKLY got outside and shoot with 308rifle and missed because yote ran gone really fast before I bam. Dmna it.  >:(  This is my 8th time this month. I need little advice.

I need trim the stick below the ground so cuddeback can take good target. I think yote turn 360 quickly before it got picture take.

Here is my advice: AIM!  :chuckle:

Hey, actually, anyway you can get the shot without sneaking all the way outside and getting them moving? Maybe thru your door frame or window?   :dunno:

If you got a window you can open take the screen off it and leave window unlockedand open just a bit. When the yote comes around slip the shooter through the opening, stay low so he don't see you then pop em.

This technique has worked for numerous magpies, crows, tearing up my garden and a few stray dogs *censored*tin' in my yard. It can be as lethal as you need it to be.

You may also try to bait them (if legal) in front of your sniping position then  :guns: light 'em up.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or destroy it, piss on it and walk away!

Yes I took whole screen off every window  ;) and my rifle is on kitchen table  :)  I have shot once out of window and I couldnt find it after I shot last fall but it was like 2am. Most of time they are around after 9ish pm hardly see in dark, I use 1 million spotlight but yote poof gone right away, but my camera kept show me MANY MANY yotes oh man. I need any better adivce how to make them come in to yote Box trap geez  :'( oh well. I wonder what kind lure do you use on tree to make them come closer.  :dunno: They can smell human hand very very good but I alway use old glove. They never come closer with in 10 ft where small meat, I lay a nice dirty around 20 ft by 20 ft so I can see tracks if they across it or not to find a meat under dirty about 2" and never show any picture of yote across one spot I am trying to strugging yote to come. Weird. Should I shoot rabbit and hang by it. Yote seem smarter not to go in box trap. Honest I have tried EVERYTHING for over 7 mo but yotes soooo SMARTER!  >:(
