I go to the Federal Way Wholesale Sports because they're really good and close to me, but I once went to the Lacy store after a bad experience at Cabela's.  I think it was a gentleman named Rod that helped me.  Very good experience and he helped me with a few shooting tips.

Rod is the bow man at Lacey. He is a great guy, and a better bow mech. I would trust my gear to him

You'll have no complaints from Rod. Great guy. Enjoys his job.

Rod is good, Ray is good too -both are bowhunters and will take the time to meet your needs.  I have more confidence in them than the Cabelas crew.  Sure wish Olympic Archery was still around though.

It sure is nice to come on here and read negative comments about my place of employment.

Sorry.  Maybe your place of employment should staff better help.  I do enjoy shopping there but, only after I have done my research on my own.  I don't trust many, if any people at Cabelas to know their stuff.  More often than not, it really seems that they aren't well versed in the departments they work in.

This is very true. I have a few friends that work there and even they will admit that not many of the employees know how to use most items in their deptartments (or even what it may be for). Most don't hunt or even pay attention to the different seasons.  :bash:
