i would drive a little north rather then south since you are in vancouver you will be in portland :chuckle: i would say head north to bucklucky he is a member here and is a master at mounting elk. check out his pics on here if i can ever kill a huge bull it will go to him. he does a great job on everything but his elk are some of the best i have ever seen :twocents:

I am sure there are some good taxi's on this site. My money goes to Charlie (bucklucky). He did a bull for me and a bear and they are amazing. I am looking at the bear as we speak. I have had so many compliments on both mounts. My hunting partner has 3 head out there now and can't wait to see them done. :) :)

Ron does do great work. But if I get anything worth mounting I'm going to take it to someone on here. Like to help out fellow members.

I can second this... I have had a deer and elk done by Joe "A Living Memory", s/n: blkbearklr. He has some of the best prices and has a quick turnaround on his animals. Don't confuse that with compromising the integrity of his product; he just doesn't sit on the animal. Not to mention he does really great work.... :)
