WTF Happened??
« on: August 26, 2010, 02:09:44 PM »
So, I was shooting some low profile, Easton 2 1/2 inch vanes and was getting beautiful flight with my broadheads, hitting kill zone easy at 55 yards... I stripped them and put blazers on, thinking the higher and more ridgid vane would be better?? :dunno:

Well, I stepped up to 20 and let a broadhead fly and SOB... the arrow looked like it was having a spaz attack all the way to the target. Obviously getting contact... Why would I be getting contact with them? dont most bows shoot them fine? The guy who had the bow before me shot them...

I'm confused!

Sometimes they need clocked differently. Try turning your knock point. Check them with food spry if that doesnt work.

Cables for sure, measure the height of the vanes you tore off and the height of the new blazers i bet the blazers are a little bit over a 1/16th to a 1/8 inch taller. Like said earlier turn cock vane a little to the right.

Not positive, but I feel like it's a fairly safe bet to assume Hornseeker's got more than 1 bow to work with.
