Wild arrows? Help!

Ive been sooting all summer.  Last night I started getting a wild arrow either to the left or they fly high, then I will get a couple more on the bull then off again.  No rhyme or reason. Any ideas?

What changes have you made?  Have you been shooting field tips all summer and now have the blades on?  IF that is the case, it may be a tuning issue.

Same arrow flying weird? Could be a form or grip issue.

More than likely it's you.  Try it again tomorrow and you might find you were just off last night.

Number your arrows.  That way you can see if it's the same arrow or not.  If it's not then it's you.

I've spent the last 2 weeks tuning guys bows and arrows and broadheads with the Hooter Shooter.  FP's flying great BH's like ass.  Bows good arrows are brand new just fletched at the local "pro" shop.  WTF.  Refletch arrows and all is good.  Another guy had 10 good arrows out of a dozen new ones, put Montecs on and out of 6 one just wouldn't fly right.  Put that BH on 3 different arrows and still wouldn't group.  Bad BH right out of the box even though it spun perfect it just wouldn't shoot.  Point being.  If you can't get your arrows to hit where you want and it's not you then you must be able to diagnose your equipment.  And moving the rest or sight to get your BH's to hit the mark where field point do is just masking the problem.

Did you change anything?  Different fletching that might be hitting the rest?  Now have broadheads on and were previously shooting field points?

Check your equipment, too.  Make sure that nothing's loose, assuming you have a drop away rest make sure that the attachment to your bowstring isn't slipping, etc.

Otherwise, it's probably form issue.  It doesn't happen very often anymore, but I used to go out on a particular day and shoot all over the place (left or right - a grip problem, generally) and then the next day try it again and go back to shooting normally.

Carbon arrows break down after a few years. If your arrows are more than 3 years old, buy new ones.

Sounds like you may be slapping the trigger. That is pretty common across the board with a lot of shooters and will certainly send an arrow of track

Cam out of tune.
Possible limb failure about to happen.

Check over the limbs real close!

Loose hardware/screws somewhere…sights, rest, cam module, stabilizer…
Break out the wrenches, start at the top and work down. When you find the offending item, Blue Loctite and end of story.

If everything is tight, it’s the loose screw behind the string!

This happens to me every now and then.  Shooting really good and get some crazy arrows,  I try to slow down and be sure I am not "gripping the grip" and I go right back to robin hood'n arrows.  CHECK FORM!!!
