No review per say but several years ago I went to the store looking for a better pack and after trying them all this one stood out by a big margin. It has proven itself. Turned out to be a very popular pack by a great maker. I think it was their most popular pack.

I purchased one last year and have nothing to complain about. Lots of pockets and pretty spacious. It makes a good day pack but if you're looking to pack out any meat with it I would opt up to a larger pack. But it is by far the best day pack I've ever had.

I have one and have used it exclusively for the last three hunting seasons as well as my everyday backpack as a geologist. It is a great pack. One of the best and most comfortable I've ever had and I have had at least a dozen or two. It has held up extremely well and looks to go for many more years. Everything I put into it stays dry and I hunt on the wet side. I can definitely give it a very positive recommendation. It is however not a pack for over nighting. It is a day pack only. if I had one complaint it is that it could be a little bigger. The Badlands 2000 is just to much the other way. That said I can get everything I need into it including elk game bags, rain gear, food, survival gear, lights, knives, camera, etc. Another cool thing is that I got it NIB off E-Bay and only paid about half price.

How about the rifle scabbord?? That looks like it could be real handy on the long before dark hauls to some areas i get into.

I have the super day and will echo the others comments. It is a great pack! I haven't used the rifle scabbard though it seems like it should work just fine. Very comfortable to wear and the layout of the pack is very useful. I also looked at the 2200 but it was just too big for what I wanted to use for a daypack. I think this one is the perfect size for hauling your gear for the day if you aren't planning on using it to pack meat.
My only complaint about the pack is it did NOT keep my stuff dry during elk season. I know last November was a wet one and I'm out on the coast so it was WET, but everything in my pack was soaked after a day of hunting. We shot an elk opening morning and I was in and out of my pack a lot so I just chalked it up to that. Took everything out that night and dried it out. The next night everything was soaked again. I ended up having to put every single thing in my pack in garbage bags and ziplocks (sometimes double ziplocks) and still had to take everything out at night to make sure it was getting dry. Major pain in the #**!!
That being said, I'll being wearing it again this year. I like the pack that much! I'll be looking into some sort of waterproof treatment for it and hopefully that will solve my only knock on this pack.

Very comfortable. I love mine. The rifle scabbard works decent for a bow as well. My only complaint is the large pockets on the hip belt. They are difficult to open and close with the pack on as the zippers are fairly far back. They are roomy, but you almost have to be double jointed to use them with the pack on. That would be the only thing I would change.

My deer hunting partner got one about 2 years ago. I thought it looked really comfortable and I liked the variety of pocket sizes, really good for organization. But, it was not water resistant in the least. Hunting in the rain all his stuff gets soaked in no time. That's the biggest flaw in my mind.

I looked at them they look great..but pricey. I got a Black Creek gear guide instead $ 170 has a bow and rifle scabbard and a self contained rain cover.

This is a great pack with lots of little pockets for organizing gear. The Eberlestock X2 is also a good one to look at in this category, not quite as many pockets, but a little beefier with the frame and you can add the scabbard for rifle or butt bucket carrier for a bow, pretty versatile setup. Linton Outdoors has both and can answer any technical questions you have...
