Cedar arrows

So who else is hunting with cedar arrows? I shoot a 50lb recurve and was thinking of using some of those Eskimo broadheads from cabelas. The 2 blades, put those on some cedar shafts with the chicken feather fletchings should be a purty good killing combo no?  What set up you got for your arrows?


PS I'm hunting late season with them there cedars if I don't get anything in the early season with my compound. So don't go babbling about having to shoot your gear a bunch before hunting. haha

i am still playin with some combos, i have some cedar and some ports. some tipped with obsidian others flint. then in the steel area i have some snuffers and dead heads. but if i end up using them it will probably be in the late season, if i did not find my big buck already.

i am shooting Ash this year.  Ash arrow shaft with a 160 grain STOS broadhead.
