They won't be standing like that when the 1,000+ hit the area this weekend for a cow season. I wish I could be there to watch it. I'm sure the game wardens will be in full force as well.

Well done with the pics. I came with in 30 yards today of about 15 cow elk and did not have a chance to see the Heard Bull. Hope they are still around for you when it opens for you.

I always see a few good deer over then when im out fishing or camping each summer. Only hunter there once for deer and didn't see any good bucks. Anyways thanks and good luck getting an elk over there,

my guess would be up rock cr rd. where these were taken.. im toying between lil naches and rimrock. just got back from rimrock and saw a crap load of wheelers goin up for the weekend to play.. but lil naches is a huge unit too.  im also thinking hunting the lil naches too for the hell of it, goin up monday to set up camp... but awsome pics!
