Evening all,

Lots of firsts for me here. First post. First day of the season. First buck. First archery kill. First deer in WA.

I moved to WA in January and have been doing a lot of research in order to get up-to-speed on hunting in this state. I have spent a LOT of time searching through the posts on this site. Thanks to all the contributors who put their knowledge out there for newbies like me to take advantage of. There is some seriously helpful info on here.

As for the buck... 3x4 Mule Deer taken at 830am this morning (Sept 1st) near Winthrop. He was 133lbs at the slaughterhouse sans head, guts, and forelegs (to paint the picture a bit better).
