Pope and Young Whitetail

i was able to tag my first pope and young buck last night after passing 4 smaller bucks throughout the evening.
he is a 7x6 and should gross right around 150!

 :yike: That thing is a toad, looks like a big bodied dude as well.  Congratulations!  :drool: I am not sure when I will even get out there  :'( in the middle of a move and work is dragging me down.  Might have to wait until the late hunt

the velvet is pretty toasted. from the death thrash and then dragging the deer out. i am going to look into the artificial sprayed velvet though.


not all that much of a story, i have been after this deer for 2 years and he came in under my tree stand yesterday. i have probably 1000 pictures of this deer on a trail cam, and have watched him numerous times this summer.
