I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood. this was a unguided hunt in eastern WA.

also, i talked to the taxidermist today when i dropped off the bear i shot yesterday  :IBCOOL: and he found a .22 slug just under his left eye, said it looked pretty fresh too.
some *censored* tried to poach him with a .22 and a spotlight we are guessing.  :bdid:
pisses me off, and i am going to keep my eyes and ears open around there teh rest of the year.
