Got a dog, need a shooter
« on: August 31, 2010, 11:11:03 AM »
Hey guys I will be picking my pup up from the trainer this saturday and i would like to get her out as much as I can.  I would be willing to hunt the suday of youth weekend if anyone wants to go but doesnt have a dog.  I live in bonney lake and know the scatter creek release site well and the skookumchuck release site well.  Let me know if you want to go shoot.  I cant promise any birds because this will be my pups first year hunting but i know she will do her best to find them.

nice offer :IBCOOL:

I'm hopin someone will take me up on it.  I am dyin to get my dog out and run her on birds I just need a shooter.

By the way she points and holds to flush so any birds she finds will be right there in your face when they come up.  Its also nice to hunt over a pointer your first few times out cuz it gives you a little time to get ready before the bird flies.

i'm sure she wont.  Do you have a flusher or pointer?  I was told runner her with a flusher will ruin a pointer.  I'm picking her up on saturday at ellensburg.  so excited  :IBCOOL:

do you have a gsp or a pointing lab? Looks like a lab puppy in your picture?
