I have a chance to buy a used rockchuckar press. Any thoughts on how much I should offer? Lets assume its in good shape. I haven't seen it yet. This is press only. Thanks

Is it the single stage or multi stage press? Single stage, maybe 30-40 bucks, multi stage, maybe $100.

i think brand new they are right around 120-140 so if it is in really good condition i would say 75 single stage. i have been reloading on a rockchuckar since i first started and was tought on one. always a great press!

Plus shipping.
Yes, it is a super strong single stage press. Not a Herters, but a great press. They hold their value up to $75 for the old ones in good condition.
The new ones are NOT the same. Offer $35-40 and see where that goes.

I paid $100 for my press, powder measure, scale and 4 sets of dies. I thought it was a good deal.

I got the whole rockchucker kit for Christmas a long time ago. The press wont do you much good with out the rest of the stuff,so try and get it cheap enough so you can get all the rest of the tools that go with reloading.

My Rockchucker is mounted right next to my Star sizer. Not far away is my Dillon. Up on the shelf are all the 'other things' needed to make little e s p l o s i v e s.
