A few high hunt pics
« on: September 03, 2010, 09:45:11 PM »
Good luck to those of you going on the high hunt coming up soon!
thought I would share a few pictures of past high hunts (Terrible Pic's, never was a photographer) Some years more successful than others, but ALWAYS  an incredible time.

Very cool!  Love the pick with the horses and the snow!

Nice Pic's Earshot! Thanks for posting them. Wish I would have invested in better equipment over the years. First pic's didn't come out the way i wanted them to, I'll try to crop them next time....Learning
All of mine have to be scanned, I'll post a few more up when I get a chance to scan some more.

One of the things I miss most about being up there is the spanning views over rolling hills and plateaus.
Wish I was pre-packing this morning, I still have dreams about this time of year of being up there, I'll be back.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
If anyone does get up around the Sheep Mountian area, and you find yourself at the top of Sheep Mt. There is a small Carin (Spelling?) placed there in remembrance of my father (George). It was one of his favorite spots to sit, reflect and take in the views. My brothers and my Cousin laid him to rest on top in 2002. He would have enjoyed sharing this spot with all fellow hunters, so tip a jug of water and enjoy the amazing scenery!
George is pictured in the green down jacket in a few of the pic's posted. He was truly an amazing gentlemen and father that will always be remembered and missed. I have been back a couple of times since then, and I plan on taking my two sons there in a couple of years. Cheers.
