Blues and Gods country..
« on: September 06, 2010, 07:07:29 PM »
Thanks Keith and Mike for a great hunt.
These 2 mountain goats took Me on 1 heck of a nice hunt threw Gods Country Saturtday.
The bird count was down from what We have seen up there over the years.
No berrys and if there was any the were tiny and green..
I got more blisters than birds but loved hunting with these 2 guys.Lots of fun.
Note 2 self "Better Boots" While hunting with these 2 "Mad Men of the Mountain"
Thanks again Guys..

Enjoy the pictures..

Was good to get out there with you and Ruger and put a few miles on. Picked up a couple grouse on Sunday in the other hole but it was slim pickins there also. Did sneak up on a old revert 2x3 in the hole and got some good pictures of him will post them later. Damn did that wind blow Saturday night or what? How did the tent hold up? Good seeing you!!

I tell You what that wind was insane.
I had heard that the outback lodge could hold up to good winds..
I wasnt sure about it.
The tent didnt budge.Stayed true and tight.
As for everything else left outside. :yike:
It was like a Yard sale. :chuckle:
Thanks again for dragging Me with.Had a blast.
See you around.
Look forward to seeing Your pictures.

yep got to love those high elevation blue grouse. The buck was a decent sized animal and reverting back on the down hill side.

Looks like a great time and some beautiful country.  Great looking birds as well.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

If God hunted, He would certainly be up there during season!
Of course, He can be found and seen up there always.  :)
