Bears Treed!
« on: September 07, 2010, 08:50:03 PM »
Went hunting with my cousin in Idaho last weekend.  They treed 7 bears in 4 days.  I was there for the last two days - treed 3.

Here is the largest one.

I let him go.

I always wonder why the bears that I spook never tree. That would be very handy. Looks like you had some fun.

Did you draw one of the 70 non-res hound permits?  Lucky dog if you did!!!  I really miss running dogs on bear over there.

looks like a blast. I've always wanted to hunt bears or cats with hounds. To do damn bad we can't in WA no more.

I have a lifetime Idaho hunting license so I just bought the hound permit over the counter.

Well -- wish me luck.  Last weekend for me on the bear hunting.  Taking the bow - should be a good time.  Hope to let the air out of a big boar!

Pictures to follow!!!
