Buddie's 1st archery elk. Pretty good one at that. Came out of unit 113, he said they were talking pretty good opening morning.

How are the elk doing in the NE?  With thick timber, wolves, grizzlies, and black bears it seems its always a guessing game. Last research I did was a WDFW 5 year plan and they mentioned that the Selkirk herd is very small (like: 1,000 head) and very spread out. I'm curious if its grown much in the past few years.
