PathfinderJR headed out for bear tonight
« on: September 10, 2010, 10:10:17 AM »
Between our garage burning down (with most of our hunting gear), school, work and football season we haven't been able to get out much yet this season, but tonight we're gonna burn some boot leather and give it a good shot.
PathfinderJR is itchin' to draw blod with his new .308, and he gets out of school at 3:00 pm....soooo.... off we go!  Wish us luck!

Thanks again Jim.  If he gets one down, you will be the first to know.

Well, sorry for the delay (I had National Guard Training this weekend).  Nothing to report on the bear hunt except that we got some quality father/son time together Friday night, glassed a cool spot, saw about a dozen whitetail does, and had some fun.  Took a few pictures.
We'll be back in there the next night that JR doesn't have football practice.  Thanks for all the well-wishing everyone! :)
