Absolutely, definately, and mandatorily, bring chains.

Hell, I take chains to the east side, even in October! You never know what the pass is going to be like. (no, not little Snoqualmi)  When you see the camp trailer in the mirror going down the road nearly sideways, you wish you'd have thrown on a trail chain.

-Steve

I had good chains for all 4....don't get me wrong.
They're in my truck now and most of the time are there.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I have the permit also.  I have November 1-20 off.  Been stockpiling vacation time in case I ever drew this or Entiat.  Been wondering the same thing as Guts.  But, since I have the time I will be there pretty much start to finish.  Probably won't be able to hunt the 20th, though, cause I fly out to Vegas at 7:00am on the 21st.  Bought the flight in April.  Hopefully I find the one I like before that.

If you have time hunt everyday, sun up to sun down.  Its definitly what it takes, my swak late tag i had a couple years ago i took my big buck on the 9th. i hunted everyday and took him mid morning. Other two tags of my dads, it was the last day of both hunts. 20 days straight for the entiat tag, and the raffle tag was a couple months :)  Good luck and enjoy, its going to be a great year.  Be safe.

Going to be lots of snow this year. Regardless of when you go, you'll see deer and have a blast.

How do you know that?
