My brother had this little gem for sale at a price a couldn't pass up, less than a year old ruger red hawk 44 mag 7 1/2" barrel and all the trimmings, set of dies, unopened box of 100 cnt 250 grn hornady XTP'S more brass than I'll ever be able to use, two speed loaders, a spare set of wood grips, shoulder holser, plus about 200 rounds of ammo all for $500 :IBCOOL:

nice gun. and a heck of a deal. my dad has the same gun that he picked up from a friend in need for $350. and that thing is loud! so whats the plan for it? you gonna hunt with it or just a shooter? or do you plan on makeing bad guys wet them self's when you pull it on them?  :chuckle:

I was just looking for a packable sidearm4"-5"  and this one came available and couldn't pass it up, so I will be useing it for hunting

I personally don't know but I probably wouldn't take more than a 50 yrd shot  :dunno:, my brother was target shooting at 80 yrds and had it dialed in pretty tight, but ballistics wise I don't know for deer

that's a beauty for sure!  i use a SRH in 454 for hunting and i am looking hard for a 4" redhawk in 45 colt.  it's defitinely a deerslayer, enjoy!
