vari-x II and III on my 3-9 and 4.5-14. I think the scope on my 10/22 is a pine ridge. not a bad scope. It is a 2-7 power.

I found a guy south of tacoma who has two or three old stocks and next time i go down that direction i am going to get one from him. He only wanted 50 bucks for the stock and it is an old original. Not a new factory model one. I like that it is old.

Shoulder is doing better. I just got my arm out of the sling on friday but i still only have about 20-30% of movement and i can barely lift my arm up past my waist line. But i am progressing. My Physical therapist says she is hoping that in 6 weeks i will be able to duplicate 100% movement to my other arm. But not strength. she said that will take a while to rebuild. But she said quicker than average because it is my dominant hand and i will naturally use it more. SO pluses across the board.

Shot the pellet gun the other day also. lol....funny to you guys but i could barely shoulder it. Told my Physical therapist and she freaked. Guess i have to hold off of doing that for another week or so.  :chuckle:

Good to hear Jay, The PT's dont like it when you go pat their instructins. When I broke my pelvis after I finally got home I went out ATVing with some buddies, I was very sore but I think it helped me more than anything. Keep us posted and take care.

The very first hunting rifle that I ever bought was a POS Savage 270. The action was really crappy, the stupid thing was a one hole gun. I went cheap on the gun but I bought the best scope that I could afford. It was a Burris 3-9 by 40 with bdc built into it. I shot that combo for over twenty years before retiring the gun. The scope finally lost pressure and I sent it back to Burris. They asked me what I wanted to do with it.I got a huge discount on a new scope instead of fixing the old one. Way better glass compared to the old scope. I have at least five or six Burris scopes. They are my scope of choice.

My .458 Lott sports a Leupold 2.5x20mm  I've found it's the only scope that will reliably hold up to the recoil!

My medium bores wear a 1.5-6

My LR rifle sports a 3.5-10x40mm with turrets

Everything else is typically a fixed 6 or 2-7x33

I have a CZ 550 American Safari Magnum in .458 Lott with a 1.5x5 Leupold VXIII.

The rifle I use the most is my Weatherby .270 Win with a 3x9 Leupold VXII.  I am a Leupold guy and all eith of my rifles have Leupolds.
