i like how he says compensating........

I have a leupold with the LR reticle. doesnt have a big huge circle but a dot instead, and  think for how small it is its worth it, and it doesnt subtract from what im looking at....and nice to knw how much more i am shooing high at my first dot or at my second dot....

should be fun for shooting targets, but probably not enough time to take in accoiunt for actual aniamls shots.......thats why everyone needs to know there gun and how it shoots with out the special reticles.

My buddy just picked one up and i shot it over the weekend. Actually the circles are not that bad at all and do help me stay focussed on target. I will buying one this week, and sighting in with it. Thanks for the info from all of you, I would love to go with a leupold but my wife and i just had our first child two weeks ago and money is tight so the leupold will have to wait until i get a different rifle.

On a side note to this, I had 2 of these scopes on a .243 and a 7/08 Rem700's added abit of value when I put them up for sale awhile back.

I bought a 3 to 9 by 40 prostaff for my 257 Roberts. I finally got a chance to shoot it today. The bdc worked as advertised out to 500 yds. The wife really liked it, thats the reason that I changed scopes.
