Get yourself a coon hide, do alot of playing, teasing and tug of war kinda thing. Keep in the freezer when not playing with her, lasts a bit longer that way, once the coon hide triggers "it's play time" with her start doing some blind drags and working with her at the tree. It's naturaly in their blood to trail and tree you just have to develop it. Then once she learns coons are good, you start introducing other scents such as deer rabit and coyote and teach that these aren't good. I miss having hounds some days, but it is alot more peaceful around here with out the pack howling out back all day and night.

Get yourself a trackin collar... take the pup for walks in safe places (no cars/roads) and get her on game... when she's just a little pup...let her do a little house cat trackin...she wont do any damage...

Its REAL easy to live trap coons and get some great training aids.....
