$100 to spend. What trail camera should I get?

Wal Mart, Cabelas, Amazon, new, used, whatever.  I have $100 to get a trail cam.  any suggestions?  It's going on public land so, I'm not spending more than $100 on this camera.

I've heard great things about the Primos TrueCam (I believe that was the model...). Sportsmans Guide had it going for under $100, and I think Cabelas may too

I'm wanting to get a couple more myself, and I've decided that trail cameras seem to so often have problems, I will only buy from Cabelas, as they have the best return policy. I will either get a Wildview, or a Moultrie. I have two Moultrie's now and I'm happy with them, but I'm really considering the Wildview as it would save me a lot of money in buying batteries. The Moultrie takes 6 D batteries and will last about a month. It can get expensive, but if you're only running one camera maybe it's not so bad. I think Cabelas has the Moultrie D50 on sale right now for $70. I also saw a Wildview 5 megapixel camera on sale for $80, regular $130. I think either one would be a good buy.

Cabelas currently has a Stealth Camera on sale for under $100. I have had no problem returning their cameras.

Exactly.  I'm not expecting it to but, with modern and muzzy coming up before late elk, you just never know.  I want to see what uses the watering hole I found.

doublej wallmart has the tasco for $50 I've heard good things but dont know pearsonly about them but you could get two of them,

I actually prefer the stealthcams. Under a hundred bucks too. Great pics. Even compared to the expensive yet small bushnell my dad has. He even thinks it takes better pics.

I've had 4 moultrie d-40's. They are very durable and have a great battery life. They take good pictures, clear and actually get shots pretty far away at night. And they are like 89.99 at cabelas

They don't have the D40's listed online, but the D50's, as I said, are on sale for $70. Same as the D40, but better, being a 5.0 megapixel instead of the 4.0 mp. Another low priced camera is the Wildview 2.0 at Cabelas for $60. I think I want a couple of those but I'm just waiting for it to go on sale.

My buddy picked up a Bushnell trail camera from Walmart in Shelton, not to long ago. It was right at about 100 bucks. Takes good pictures and seems to have good battery life. Check it out. Sorry I don't remember the model.

Wal Mart in Shelton has everything doesn't it?  Seems like they have more stuff than other Wal Marts

They have more then some and less then others. We where at the Walmart in Sequim and they had quite a lot of reloading stuff. The one down here doesn't have any.
