Idaho success

This past week my 16 year old cousin Nik and myself went over to Idaho to do some elk hunting. Our goal was to get Nik his first elk.
When we got into camp none of the guys were around and all the pack boards were gone. We found the video camera in the camper and quickly discovered they had killed a really nice 6 point.
The following day we started going after it hard. We got one bull to answer us twice but he didnt want to play the game. That evening we saw a few cows and got a bull going real good but it got dark on us so we had to give up for the night. At first light we were after him again, he was talking but wasnt leaving his cows. We got a look at him on a open ridge and he was a very nice 320-330 bull. As we were moving in on him another hunter came down the ridge and spooked him.
Frustrated by our hunt being messed up by another hunter, that evening we decided we were going to biv-wack. We drove the quads as far as we could and then started hiking. About 3 miles from the quads we got a bull to answer us on a far ridge. We moved to within 200 yards and when Jason started calling the bull came crashing straight at us. Nik shot when the bull was at 10 yards. It went about 70 yards and tipped over and just like that, Nik had his first elk!
It was a little bit of a pack out but we all enjoyed it!

love to see that kind of success, nicely done. I'm looking to switch from rifle to bow in Idaho next year and was planning on heading to unit 22, do you guys have a better unit that you might reccommend? I've never been to 22 yet, only hunted 10a, 18 and 17. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
