looking for a new hunting area
« on: September 15, 2010, 03:25:00 PM »
I'm tring to find the Bonny lake hunting area Ive been hunting the wenston area but someone has been up there with a high powered rifle  :bash: and all sorts of people driving in behind the gates. i wont start complaining about the guns and drivers running the elk off so i was just looking for a place to finish out early season and maybe get a respectable bull or large cow

I have never heard of the Bonney Lake "hunting area."  Sorry.

Do you happen to know what county it is in?

Most people do their homework and it says that unit has more kills and public land then any other..... "ENOUGH SAID"

People are asses every where, you just hear about it there more because there are more people from the cities that hunt there and are on the internet.

i completely agree with doing your homework. But i was at a bit of a disadvantage with this being my first year in WA and elk hunting. i was told there where alot of elk there and i scouted it and done some bear hunting there and saw several nice bulls but we all live and learn. thank you all
