Well after beating the timber all morning we bumped a few elk. Seeing the rubs in the area I knew a bull was around. 30 yds away up jumps horns and over the knob w/ the rest of the herd. Following them for about 45min we get a glimpse of horns through the trees now and then. They are not on the run but headed some where. We decide to give them a rest, ride the bikes out and come back later. I roll through one more timber patch on the way out and run in to another hunter. AS we stood there BSing less than 1/4 mile away from where we just left and . BOOM.
His buddy gets on the radio .... BULL DOWN!! He tells me there are 4 of them heading in from where I just dropped off the elk . Congrats man and I WANT TO SEEE PICTS . Hope u are on HW.
