Deer areas 460 or 454
« on: September 16, 2010, 05:02:00 PM »
So my brother has a multi-season deer tag and im sure most of you know that i have a multi season elk tag, (and been working hard at it.) however my brother is taking tomorrow off and i asked him if he wanted to beat some feet tomorrow so i can make sure my stand legs still move.

Anyways we don't really hunt much on the west side, but would really like a few places to check out for some animals tomorrow.
I'm not asking for any honey holes i just thought some of you would know some legit places to go check out for some bears, deer and elk.

Preferably around the north bend, highway 18 area, Middle fork, lake snoqualmie trail?

Thanks in advance guys and PM me if you any suggestions.
 :hello:

A long time ago when i hunted the farm i liked the griffen creek area, when they locked the gates there for good it was a nice Mnt bike in area, but i have not been there in a long, long time...

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

He is referring to the Snoqualmie Tree Farm which is owned by Hancock. In order to drive on the property you need to purchase a $225 permit per person per year and it is limited at 500 people. Hancock began selling the permits last December and was sold out by March. So you are out of luck there. However you can do all the walking/biking on the property that you want, without a permit. Just be aware that during the week there are a lot of logging trucks driving the roads.

taylor mountain is a good area, take a drive there and you'll see how much browse is available!
