Those are some great pic's! Makes me think I need to spend some time in the woods and get a good one! The only one I ever shot was about 75 pounds live so I'm guessing mom had already been killed. Nice bears guy's good work.

yes i did have flip flops on we have to wade to our spot and i missed the gravel bar at one of the crossings ended up belly button deep, filled my hip boots that was the only set of dry clothes/shoes i had in the truck

that would be me it was really hot that day and before the hunt i was running excavator all day for my dad tearing out our orchard ended up with a pretty good case of heat exhaustion, dad really wanted the orchard out and i really wanted to go hunting, he said if i finished the orchard that day hed give me a couple days off, so like the idiot i am i pushed it a bit to far
