If any westside teams one more shoot me an email or a pm. I live in the olympia lacey area, but spend a lot of time out torward puyallup. I hunt bear and deer near greenwater and crystal mountain where i see plenty of cats big and small. I also do a lot of hiking around around the tenino/rainier area. I coyote hunt on the eastside when i can talk someone into leaving here at 2 am on a saturday morning which isn't very often. Shhhhesshhhh long post for a first on this site. happy hunting

If any one in the Spokane area is looking for a team member, I would be much obliged.

Remember, you don't have to be in the same area to be on the same team. As much as I would like to, I know I won't get to hunt with tlbradford and Bone this year for sure. Possibly could get out with Ray depending on schedules.

I am embarrased to say that i missed the biggest yote i've ever seen today at 50 yards head on shot..  Saw him at about 200 yards at 7:15 ish pm  i dropped to one knee and sat dead still in the middle of an old logging road i watched him walking towards me for about 3 minutes taking his time browsing by thetime he got to about 50 yards i had a slight shake going i released i was holding my breath   :bash:    shaaaaaatt!!!  He spotted me stared hard i fired and i'll be damned the *censored* just turned around and hauled ass ..    I was soo pissed at myself..  thats being said i wanna play  pm me if you wanna form a team

I'm available... I just reserve the right to veto any stupid team name decisions!

I'd actually prefer to be on a team that's spread all over the State. Makes it more fun, and creates comraderie that wouldn't have existed otherwise. But I'll go with whomever wants a very busy, homeschooling, business operating, Big Cat focusing, family man to join them!

rainshadow1 I wouldnt mind trying to get over there to hunt some yote/cats. I think I have a cougar lined up when season opens for firearms. The cat is seen everyday in the same area

We don't have to hunt together to be on the same team, but that sounds good to me!

It can be a long, fun discussion, but there's only a couple possibilities when a Coug is hanging about for longer periods of time in one area... either a honey hole (I have a story of 18 months on 700 acres because it held enough deer to lose one per week), or denning (I have a story that's happening right now, of sightings, sign, kills etc. for many weeks, and the 2-3 month old cubs were spotted last weekend.) Very few other possibilities, although the booming population is creating some new behaviours...
