A few days ago, I had cut some big buck tracks and decided to see if I could lay eyes on this buck for a possible weekend hunt. I found him.....and a cool buck he is! I'm going to say he is very close to 30 inches and a BIG forked horn with a few kickers and an eye guard. I have some crappy pictures but they are on my other camera. Anyway, somewhere along the way I saw this "opportunity" laying down trying to hide in the snow.
One more for yote gami.

Hey team Ramrod lets get some dogs going, or are you all holding out with the pics because you have been stock piling so much you haven't had time to put them in here? I will be going out again this weekend with Jayrod in hopes of stocking up! Lets roll guys.

Here's another for Team Ramrod! Nice big male weighed on digital scale at 40.3lbs and then just to double check reweighed on another at 41lbs. Figured I best show a hanging weight for proof. This is the biggest yote I have shoot so far! Hopefully going to add a few more to our list today! Come on team ramrod lets roll!

Team cant hit $hit
Hunting was rough today. 10 plus inches of crust with a breakthrough at every step. Had to go back to the truck and get my snow shoes, I'm absolutely wrecked. This SOB charged in at full bore after some challenge howls with ki yi's, he was looking to fight. Sorry for the graphic pic he was close and I was busted hit about 5" back and opened him up. Oops. Oh well, dinner is served.

I'm back on line
And it looks like anyone could catch up to second place. Dang sagebrush assassins are kicking butt again. (but I sure enjoy the pics and stories) I better get my butt out there as I haven't been out yet after coyotes. First thing in the morning I'll be out and I hope I can knock one down.

Went out friday night and had good luck with the large male, got home at about 11:30pm then went back out at 3am with Jayrod and seen many but no good shots and way off. Got skunked!!! Went back out later again with buddy of mine and seen nothing! Went back out latter in the afternoon again With Swag and seen one way off heading out, called until land owner pulled up in his deisal ford and opened and closed his door like 40 times while going through gate[img]
! Went to another spot and called in a angry male only to scare the bajesus out of him! O well it was a awesome 24 hours of hunting. To bad their wasn't some shootin instead of all hunting.I guess I'm paying for the easy others.
