Thanks for the kindness everyone.

Here is the updated scoresheet.  272 kills.  Can we get to 300?  Way to pile them up everyone.

Team Ramrod picked up another tonight! I Will post the pic in the am. It was awesome me and my son took off about 7:30pm for a quick set on a honey hole i have left alone for a while and after a few minutes we where able to see 5sets of eyes! Pulled down on the first one i seen which was only eyes and no body Bamb and he was down. Awesome! It was right in the head and blew out the marbles! My son is good luck! 30minutes and a dog.

Falfire and I slipped out this morning and almost slipped back in, dang it was cold, that northeast wind definitely didn't help.  First thing out we've got 3 dogs, no 4, no 5.  Thought this could be fun, with two shots, two dogs.  That didn't happen, we both miss.  :bash:  :bash: But I did get this little female on the second shot at 300 yds.  Wasn't a total loss, but could have been alot better.  Saw three more later in the day, but they didn't seem to interested.

+1 for SBA

That's not a good picture of the gun.  It's just an inexpensive Savage 243.  And Falfire  :sas:   knows it has a Zeiss Rapid Z 600 on it, not a lukespole.  :chuckle:  Also put a Timney trigger on it.

SBS and I went north again today and it was freaking cold. We were hoping with the cold temps the coyotes would be out looking for a meal. Well not so much. The first set at about the 4 min mark we see a coyote come limping in, it kinda gimped it's way in towards the call then started angling parallel and then stopped, we both fired at the same time. Went over to it and she looked like she had gotten in a fight with another coyote, both front legs were chewed up, the rt leg had the hide split open and gangrenous.  The next set we just sat down and a coyote took off out of a brushy thicket below us. He made it a little ways before he went down. The next 9 sets were a bust, the coyotes were there but we couldn't get them to respond to anything we were thowing at them. With the tracks we were seeing it looked like the ones that were paired up were going way back in the sagebrush and the singles were the only game in town. Total of 9 coyotes seen, approx 6 miles of boot leather in 8 inches of snow, Oh and 1 porkypine down. Hmm Now for the Hot tub and a Jack Daniels or two or three or four.
