I call in most of my coyotes, but if I'm moving between stands, and see one in range, he goes down. I would probably try to hide, and call him closer, I might not. I've certainly shot some on the drive in, and out. I guess the short version is that a coyote in range is a coyote in the scope, and down if possible. :twocents:

Still working on a shower remodel here at the ranch and not even half way done yet  :bash:  Could be awhile yet before I can even think about getting busy with worrying about calling dogs.

Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.

Finally got my new .20 tac loads worked up 5 shot groups are .53 moa at 100 yrds, can't wait to draw first blood on it. 39 bk at 3820 fps. Them dogs are going down. 99% of the coyotes we shoot are called in, if a coyote hangs up at 300+ yards we count it as called. Sometimes we stalk as close as possible when we see one sunbathing on a hillside and give a few squeaks does that count?  :dunno:

Falfire, I heard you don't take a shower but once a month anyway, the remodel can wait.  :chuckle:
