Ok, this is a good one. So I shoot a yote the other day with 509er right. Get out to him and he is not quite dead. Well I left my gun at the truck. So I knock him over the head with a rock right. Lights out. Drag back to truck throw him in and off we go. Not so fast....... An hour later we stop to grab a pop from the cooler(AKA snow pile in back of truck). Huh thats weird, that coyote just looked at me. No I must be tired.Nope he just looked at me again. So I flung him out on the bank and he sat up on his butt and looked at us like "whats up guys" . I guess I knocked him out with the rock.   I finished him off. Not pretty to say the least.    .204 at point blank is messy.

True story.

Can you imagine if I had gotten home opened the tailgate and had that mangy thing go burning out of the bed and into my yard.  :yike: That would have made for a better story. I was just thinking man i'd be pissed/confused if I had gotten home and the dog was just gone (bailed out along the way).  :chuckle:

It will be a little bit before the new score sheet is up.  I forgot to save the latest version during the last update so I added to the wrong scoresheet.  I'll make it right and get it up tonight.

Not that we will win or even come close but by my count Leadslingers have 5 yote pictures(4-509er, 1-Slinger) and 4 kills(3-slinger, 1-antlerking) total 6.5. Man we suck.  :chuckle:

Okay all, updated through this post.  Please check your scores and let me know if you find an error.

130+ dead coyotes so far.  Contest goal is going to be 300 total.

I have a couple of calls collecting dust and some used predator calling videos I'm going to put up for prizes.  Been meaning to do a little more with this contest, but work and family is keeping me from really pushing this to the next level.  I'll get a list of the crap (I mean prizes) I have laying around here.   :chuckle:
