O ya! I think it's the best cow call there is until you get too much spit in it. By that time it usually means im calling too much anyway. And it's bright green for whatever reason...

I like the Reed calls better such as Tue IMAKADABULL CRAZY IMHO you can do way more with it. I'd get that one if I were you.

I like the reed calls better, as well.  I even take the blue reed thing off the bugles and just use it with a reed.  However, I also have a Cowgirl call and, to me, it sounds a bit more like a calf (which is good, I think, if you want to sound like more than one elk.)  I have a bunch of calls, although I certainly don't carry them all (everyone LOVES the Hoochie Mama  :chuckle: ).  Anyway, compared to what I've spent on other gear, this one is pretty cheap to try out.

X2 it does sound high like a calf.  Way different from primos mouth calls.

my buddy has one more like a calf call. i agree with whats said i prefer my open read 100:1 over the closed/bite calls :twocents:
i have the catnip call which is almost the same i use from time to time on predator hunts and its a pretty good call as well.

i really love the call, had a bull wild up couple years ago wth this one along wth the hoochie, and hot lips by primos. various cow pitches and sounds. but it is the same methode as the cat nip which is for predators which is awsome call... but ide deff have that cow girl in your arsenal.

I liked mine the first couple times I used it but now it just PISSES me off! It gets clogged with spit WAY too easily...maybe I drool too much at the sound of a big bull bugling :dunno: I do like the way it sounds when it's not clogged though. I really like my primos "lead cow" and primos diaphrams.

I have one and I am not impressed. The bite and call type calls don't sound very real to me,and  I have had a lot better luck with a diaphram call, and for an estrus call I prefer the hyper lip w/o or with toner depending on distance.Elk are getting use to the hoochie mammas, carlton's squeeze me,etc. It seems that if it's easy to master, tons of people are over using it,and elk are becoming CONDITIONED.These calls will work well in areas with low hunting pressure,in my opinion.Master a reed and your set!!Keep your hands free and use a reed.
