Gov/Auction tag bull killed

That is a great elk! Thank you Mr Agnew for spending the $ to get this tag and helping our wildlife! Now that being said as far as the hunt goes there is hunting and there is killing! My boys and I hunt in washington when we go to Wyoming next week we will be killing. This bull may have been on public land for all to take but I have a feeling at day break of that "hunt" they did not "hunt" this animal it was just killed. Anyone can be a great "killer" for the right amount of $ But you have to work hard be a great hunter.

The only thing I see that's disgusting is the jealousy. I am really sorry to see that. I bet half the guys who complain about non-residents have hunted or fished out of state themselves. Half the guys who complain that he was guided have had help with a hunt or fished on a charter boat, etc. I'm just sorry to see the poor sportsmanship. As several have pointed out, this was a public land bull that some archers or the raffle winner had an equal opportunity to hunt. They could have also hired a guide to help if they had desired.

Man thats a nice one. I'm glad that the money came into the state and that are state can produce bulls like this. Jealousy is going to be there with a animal of this class but it was done right and there will be more bulls of this class out there.

lot of guys are saying that other permit holders had the same opportunity to kill this bull, but I don't think most of the other guys had as many people helping them or don't think there bow's can shoot quite as far as Mr. Agnew's rifle. Yes, I'm assuming he shot it with his rifle. Mark me down as one of the jealous guys, very nice bull. If I had the money I'd buy it every year. What ever happend when the 08' bull he shot was with guides in an area that no guides were licensed to be in? Anyway, another bull of a lifetime.

This one that was in Boone & Crocket.  I don't actually know what happened, but it seems like there was a lot fo miss-information shared that changed everytime the story got to a new person.  There may have been more of an outcome, but I never heard about it.

I am not positive but someone told me that washington does not require a permit to guide only outfit.
