Pretty well guess the camera man didn't own the cattle or have a gun.  That's a pretty cool sequence.  Looked like a small bear.

Cows. America's new Dangerous Game!

I hate free range cattle in the Okanogon.  I've been riding my dual purpose bike on FS roads and come in close contact with them more than once. I give them a wide birth most of the time, but I've been charged by a mama with calves more than once.  I've walked through them and generally just throw a big rock and bruise some meat and they all run. But not always. Some of the big ones will actually stand their ground.

That poor little blacky bit off a little more than he could chew.

I had a moo cow almost trample my ecaller once.  It was drooling and stomping and very pissed off over the rabbit distress I was playing.  After I stood up it was bellowing and giving me the stink eye.  I thought I was gonna have to run for it.  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Those are incredible photos. Thanks for sharing.. I bet that bear is gonna be mighty sore for a few days, probably has a concussion getting smashed by those cows like that.  lol..  Nice to see the power of a herd..

Wow, those cows are aggressive! Almost like predators. I guess pretty soon we'll have a ban against the use of dogs with cattle... maybe even no "baiting" of cows. Does that mean I'll no longer be allowed to feed my cows? I'm so confused.  :P
