Cool thread.... just warn me if you are going to put up a spider... i will close my eyes and scroll past it!  :yike: :yike: I love what spiders do, but I think they are the creepiest looking critters there are!

Warning to Elliot, spiders coming! :sry:

I actually didn't notice the spider at first, and neither did the bee.

The spider attacked and they fell from the blossom, but the spider let out a lifeline.  It was a short battle and the action was too fast for me to photograph.

Once the bee was subdued, the spider adjusted his grip.

And hauled him up onto a leaf where he could be consumed at leisure.

Some really great pictures here!  Ricochet, that series is incredible.  I just saw this thread, now I gotta go dig through my pictures and see if I have anything worth contributing.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

That sequence was great!  I've watched it enough, but have never filmed it other than the before and after.  COOL!
