What to yall think about this gun.

I have a Encore ProHunter 30 TC 15 barreled with a nice scope on it and i am going on a bear hunt in 3 weeks we will be running dogs and shooting them out of trees , so shots shouldnt be very far , How do you think the 30 tc with 165 grain bullets will do? The ballictics show it almost like a 3006 and i feel good shooting it to 100yds. But was going to ask some of you guys that have been around bears alot more then me. Thanks

You should probably clarify that you will not be running dogs in WA - different State we would assume.  lyour oad will be fine.

With the right shot placement you should be fine.
