You can find dealers selling their previous years inventory on ebay and sometimes archery talk.

I picked up a 2010 bear assault earlier this year off an ebay dealer. Came fully setup with a half dozen arrows for $550. Problem with buying it online was the yahoo that put it together screwed it up and I had to take it in to Larry at Wholesale sports in federal way to fix it.
You can almost always find a better deal online since they lack the overhead of a store but I would suggest going to wholesale sports and talk to Larry before buying one.

Go to the archerytalk classifieds and take a look. I just scored a good deal on a bowtech and an even better deal on some broadheads. I think I need to put a block on that website...

I would go to archery talk most the guys on there are from the east coast and there are an overwhelming amount of bow hunters back in the mid west and the east ...therefore they sell there product old and new for cheaper prices.

Sweet bows. I have been looking at the Camo Vanquish.

Year to year prices will not vary much. The big savings come when a company changes model designation (i.e. Truth to Attack).
E-bay has some really great values when this happens. Usually after Christmas is when the BEST time to hit it comes. Generally in January/February.
