« on: January 13, 2008, 07:05:28 PM »
Hey there..hope everyones big game seasons went well! Just wondering if anyone out there hunted the snoqualmie tree farm for deer this season? anyone have any luck? I was seeing a ton of deer there throughout my summer/fall scouting. Opening morning there were three other hunters in my spot!!!  :bash: I ended up only seeing does...for the two days I had to hunt this year! damn anyways anyone else hunt the tree farm?

It is basically my home away from home. Know a lot about the area. Seen a lot of deer this year, mainly does but a couple spike, 2, and 3 points. Definitely a terrible year for grouse and rabbit. And it is probably the worst year for bear damage that I have ever seen there. The place can be crawling with bears at times.

wow , bears? I'd doing some physical and digital scouting with google earth, any boundaries you suggest I should stay away from?  Please use my haphazardly drawn Cartesian grid for reference if you'd like:
Is it okay to park anywhere in front of the gates?

Never block the gates.  Just park off to the side so others can get around your vehicle and you will be ok.

We used to do good in the rain , clear cuts in the rain, the deer were out where they could see danger , J line

BEAR!
I could use some info on some bear locations. My areas are barren and getting bummed. Any input would be helpful as I really don't know that area

According to the map above, I'd check areas J/H/F/D. I've heard of quite a few big bears being taken in there recently
Theres plenty of room for all of gods animals.... right next to the mashed potatoes!
